Whether you're moving to a new room or a new home, amp offers professional relocation services to help move your device safely and correctly

Relocation in 4 steps

  1. Purchase your relocation service at least 2 weeks before your desired move date

  2. Fill out the required amp installation form with details about the new location

  3. Our team reviews your form and confirms eligibility or reaches out with questions

  4. Schedule your appointment with our installation partner, JB Hunt


Relocation options

Option 1: Room-to-room relocation (within the same home)

Price: $300 + taxes and fees

This service moves your amp device within the same home, from one room or wall to another. It also covers either disassembly only (e.g., placing the device into storage) or assembly only (e.g., reinstalling after it has been in storage).

Key details:

  • Service includes one visit only — this may be either disassembly, assembly, or a same-day move from one room to another.

  • “Same-day” means the disassembly and assembly happen in the same appointment without waiting time in between.

  • If the removal and reinstallation happen on different days, these are treated as two separate services and require separate orders.

Includes:

  • Professional uninstallation and/or reinstallation within the same home (as applicable).

  • New amp installation kit (we do not reuse screws or bolts)

Covers scenarios like:

  • Moving amp to a different wall or room.

  • Temporary removal for renovations (if reinstall is same-day).

  • Disassembly only (placing in storage).

  • Assembly only (after storage).

Requirements:


Option 2: Move to a new address (within amp service areas)

Price: $500 + taxes and fees

This includes professional relocation from your current home to a new home.

Includes:

  • 1x uninstallation & 1x installation by certified professionals

  • New amp installation kit (provided by installer)

  • Customer is responsible for safely packaging the device for transport. We will provide guidelines, but the customer is responsible and liable for any damage during transit.

Important: amp does not provide packing or transportation services. You are responsible for safely moving the device between addresses.

What to expect:

  • amp partners will uninstall the device at your current address

  • You will pack and move the device

  • Once ready at the new location, submit the relocation form

  • amp reviews and confirms location eligibility

  • JB Hunt will contact you via email, SMS, or phone to schedule your install

Timeline and planning

  • We recommend purchasing your relocation service at least 2 weeks before your planned move

  • Once your form is submitted, our team will review and reach out if clarification is needed

  • JB Hunt handles scheduling and will contact you via email, SMS, or phone.


Packing and equipment details

  • The mounting system removed from your wall must be kept and moved with the device

  • A new installation kit (screws, bolts) will be brought by the installer on the day of installation

Important notes

  • Our installation team will confirm site compatibility during your appointment. If the new location doesn’t meet requirements, additional visits may be necessary and could incur extra charges.

  • If your new location does not meet amp’s installation requirements, we will work with you to find an alternative.

  • If you're moving to an area not currently live, we can uninstall the device, but reinstallation may not be possible until we expand to that region.

  • Customers are not permitted to self-install or uninstall in unsupported locations; doing so will void the warranty.

  • The relocation fee is non-refundable once an appointment is scheduled.

  • Disassembly and assembly should be completed within 6 months of each other. This applies to both open markets and markets not yet open.
