Installation Requirements
Updated over a week ago

Your amp brings the gym home—but first, let's make sure it fits your space. Ensure you have 3 feet of width and 7 feet from the wall to move freely through your exercises. You'll also need a minimum 7-foot ceiling height to guarantee a full range of motion for everything from squats to overhead presses.

Our installation team will mount the amp 5-¼" to 7" from the floor. For power, you'll want a grounded outlet within 5 feet, no higher than 5 inches if it's right below the unit. Setting up your device correctly now means smooth training later.

Supported wall and studs

Not all walls are created equal. For a secure installation, your amp requires either 2" by 4" wood studs or metal studs spaced 12 to 18 inches apart. Skip the aluminum studs or foam-insulated metal ones—they simply aren't up to the task.

Several common surfaces that WILL work for installation:

  • Drywall or sheetrock (with proper stud support)

  • Solid, poured concrete with no added material

  • Solid cinder blocks without added materials

All other materials require additional review.

Several common surfaces that will NOT work for installation:

  • Modified concrete or cinder blocks

  • PVC surfaces

  • Superior walls

  • Metal studs smaller than 1-⅝ x 3-⅝

  • ICF construction (insulated Concrete Forms)

  • Light-gauge aluminum studs

  • 2 x 2 wood walls

  • Any brick surface

  • Glass or mirrors

Location matters

Think carefully about placement near bathrooms or kitchens—these walls often hide plumbing and electrical systems that could affect installation. For garage installations, climate control is essential. Your amp needs stable indoor conditions with 0-90% humidity and non-condensing.

Power Requirements

Reliable power is essential for consistent performance. Your amp connects to a standard 120V outlet. The outlet requires proper grounding and must meet local codes. Keep the outlet accessible and avoid sharing it with power-hungry appliances that might interfere with your amp.

Preparing your home for amp

The device itself is compact and adaptable, measuring 6 feet in height, 2 feet in width, and 1 foot in depth after installation, including the shelf. These dimensions allow amp to complement various environments, rooms and spaces.

If something doesn't quite match these requirements, don't worry. Contact our team at [email protected]—we'll help evaluate your space and find solutions for any challenges. Sometimes, this means finding a better spot or adjusting the installation plan, but we'll make it work.

Remember: While these requirements might seem detailed, they ensure your amp performs reliably and safely.
